─── who we are

Who we are

Led by Ria Fennema and her husband Fester Medendorp, Blessed Generation Kenya works with over 100 qualified Kenyan staff members. In close collaboration with the Kenyan Child Welfare Services, we support over 1,000 vulnerable children across the country.

Our foundation in the Netherlands—Stichting Blessed Generation Nederland—raises funds and provides essential support to sustain our mission.

This powerful partnership between Kenya and the Netherlands combines local leadership and cultural insight with Dutch transparency, organization, and long-term support.

See words from our children

"I came to BG in Nyamira after losing my parents. With their support, I completed high school and pursued nursing. Today, I work in a local clinic, caring for others the way BG cared for me."

Grace

Growing up in Malindi, I never imagined I'd step into a university. BG sponsored my education and helped me find my voice. Now I’m working in finance and mentoring young people just like me.

Daniel

I was taken in at Ruiru when I was just 12. I discovered my passion for carpentry and now run my own small business. BG didn’t just give me tools—they gave me purpose.
