The Lighthouse Project

Blessed Generation has established homes in and around its Malindi grounds to support foster and adoptive families, creating a sustainable and loving environment for children in need.

A Unique Family-Based Approach

The Lighthouse Project is more than just housing—it’s a village, a thriving community where families integrate children from BG into their homes. Currently, 12 houses are home to couples who have their own children and also open their doors to children for adoption or foster care. These children are no longer registered under BG but are embraced as family members, receiving housing, food, and education support

A Vision Turned Reality

Dreams coming alive

Initially seen as an impossible dream, the Lighthouse Project is now a beacon of hope. Skeptics who once doubted the initiative now walk through the village, eager to learn and replicate its success. It took persistence, but today, the impact speaks for itself.

A Moment of Pride - Ramla’s Story

During the 2024 Lighthouse Project inauguration, Ramla—a child who grew up with BG and is now part of a Lighthouse family—addressed the attendees. As the headteacher put it: “Sit back, relax, and enjoy!” Ramla’s journey embodies the success of this initiative.
