Volunteering
Volunteering in Kenya
Would you like to volunteer with Blessed Generation in Kenya? You can contribute under the guidance of our local staff at one of our three project locations: Ruiru, Nyamira, and Malindi.
Types of Volunteer Work
There are various areas where your help can make a real difference:
- Providing administrative support in the office
- Organizing creative or sports activities for the children
- Tutoring students, supporting teachers, or working as a remedial teacher
- Offering technical support in construction or maintenance
- Assisting in water management, irrigation systems, or electricity infrastructure
- Performing medical or nursing work
- Helping to set up income-generating projects
- Organizing workshops (e.g. first aid, CV writing, literature, music, environment, Europe)
- Tackling on-the-ground tasks as they come up
- Note: The children are cared for by local staff to avoid emotional attachment to short-term volunteers.
